Hopi High journalists nab state awards<br>

POLACCA — Three student journalists from the Hopi High School Bruin Times newspaper won awards from the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association.

Jamie Keith won an award for an editorial opposing reality television shows, Daffany Johnson won an award for a feature story about Coach Russ Semore and his wife Sheila as a Valentine’s Day couple and Andree Duwyenie won an award for an editorial about a hip-hop group that acted in a way offensive to Native Americans.
