Memories of a Navajo Thanksgiving, 1962<br>

In rummaging through some old boxes, I found this photograph taken on Thanksgiving day, some 41 years ago. Now, at 84 years of age, it opened a flood of memories for me.

Who were these people and what had I been doing there in that cold Arizona desert? Who was the pretty Navajo teenager with her small fortune in turquoise jewelry? Whatever happened to her? I guess she’d be about 58 years old now. Was she still around?
