Coconino County walking many paths this summer<br>

Summer is here and the days are long. Gardens are growing well and if our weather cooperates we’ll have a nice harvest.

In fact, weather is a topic for much discussion at Coconino County these days. The on-going drought and the fire danger are issues that concern us all.

Our Emergency Services Coordinator, Jim Driscoll has recently held two meetings with water companies and water haulers throughout the county. One result will be a map of the county showing all known water sources, both potable and non-potable. This will be invaluable if any of our communities begin to run low on water, so if you know of wells, springs or tanks in your area, please contact Jim at 928-526-2735. The staff of several Western Agency Chapters has attended these meetings—thanks to Coppermine, Cameron, Leupp and Tolani Lake Chapters for your participation.
