Martin takes over as SIPI president<br>

This month Dr. Joseph Martin will leave his position as Coordinator for Navajo Hopi School Administrators Training Program in the College of Education at Northern Arizona University to take over the helm as Southwest Indian Polytech Institute President in Albuquerque, N.M. Dr. Martin will assume his new position in mid-January 2003. SIPI is one of 33 tribal colleges in the country. On Dec. 2, the Institute of Native Americans at NAU hosted a reception for Dr. Martin. Friends and colleagues wished him well in his new position.
