After a close game, the players took a few minutes to congratulate each other.
She was pleased with this year’s turnout, donations and game. “It was a great time for everyone there.”
Lieutenant Roger Conatser, who is the Winslow Police Department coordinator for the event, said this year’s game was a fun event for their department.
“The two years we have done this have both been a blast,” he said.
“This event is important to this community because it is good to get out in the community and do charity work,” Conatser added.
“Plus, it bridges the gap between the police department and the D.O.C., and that’s a good thing,” he concluded.
