The year 2002 has been good. Many good things have happened. But why not talk about 2003?
This New Year is a time to focus on the positive. The New Year is a time for Hozhonje (Blessing way) to be restored. 2003 is the year for the Navajo Nation to start coming together and help one another. It is a time to support our elected officials and the people we associate with — other tribes, the border towns, the newspapers — all of us to start coming together and help one another. It is never the time for Navajo or anybody to be thinking about going against one another, especially now when the U.S. government faces a bigger enemy.
