Hopi grad on Harvard summer research team<br>

Pearlyn Tomosie, a graduate of Hopi High School, has been accepted into Harvard University’s Four Directions Summer Research Program. Tomosie, a junior at Northern Arizona University, will be studying in this eight-week Native American pre-med program from June 20-Aug. 16. The idea of the program is to give students a feel for Harvard Medical School, which Tomosie hopes to attend. She said attending this summer program doesn’t guarantee her getting into the medical school but certainly helps.
