Alberta M. Hoops
Funeral services for Alberta M. “Polly” Hoops, were held Tuesday, September 18, 2001, at Greer’s Scott Mortuary Chapel. Viewing was held before the services. Pastor Larry Woodcock officiated. Interment was in Desert View Cemetery.
“Polly” Alberta Hoops passed away on September 12, 2001, in Cottonwood, Ariz. She was born on August 13, 1917, in Wytheville, Virginia. She was a member of the Winslow Emblem Club and a Lady Elk. She and her husband moved to Cottonwood after his retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; sisters, Eva Snavely of Virginia and Bettie Harlan of Pennsylvania.

Holy Rosary for Orlidia "Lilly" SAndoval, 53, was held Tuesday, Sept. 18 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Sept. 19, at St. Joseph's. Celebrant is Father Dan Husseyl. Interment was in Desert View Cemetery.
Orlidia Sandoval passed away on September 15, 2001, in Winslow. She was born on December 23, 1947, in Willard, New Mexico. Orlidia was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, who showed nothing but love to everyone she knew.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Orland Sandoval of Winslow; daughters, Renee' (Mercy) Apodaca, Yvonne (Joe) Gonzales and Veronica (Isom) Jackson; son, Orlando Jr. (Natalie) Sandoval; mother, Josephine (Andy) Ballejos; sisters, Tomie (Eloy) Zamora, Cathy (Eddie) Cruz, Pauline (Andy) Hernandez, Mary Ann (Henry) Sandoval, Sally (Michael) Guzman, Patricia (Damon) Allen, Janice (Brad) Childers, Delores (L.D.) Strange; brothers, Angelo Aragon, David (Jeanette) Aragon and Peter (Loretta) Maldonado; 11 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Tomas Anagon.
