Catherine “Tink” Borum
Catherine “Tink” Borum, 68, passed away August 8, 2001, in Winslow. She was born in Flagstaff on April 15, 1933.
She attended schools in Leupp and Flagstaff. She graduated from Winslow High School. Catherine went to Stephens College in Missouri and received her AA degree. She then attended the University of Southern California and received her MBA degree.
She taught school at St. Michael’s and Coconino High School before returning to Winslow. She also taught at Northland Pioneer College from 1975 until retiring in 1996. She continued at NPC on a part-time basis.
Catherine was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She loved to read and enjoyed animals.
Survivors include her cousins in New Mexico and Oregon, and her church family. Her parents Stanton and Ida Mae Borum preceded her in death.
Due to remodeling at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2001 at the Methodist Church, 101 E. Hillview. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Desert View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Building Fund.

Robert Michael Alan Bay
The City of Winslow mourns the passing of one of its own, Mr. Robert Michael Alan Bay, 23, who passed away in Phoenix on Wednesday, September 5, 2001. Funeral services were held Monday, September 10, 2001, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Winslow Stake Center, with Robin Boyd officiating. Interment was held in Desert View Cemetery.
Robert Bay was born January 2, 1978, in Yuma. He attended Winslow High School where he participated in the orchestra and was a lineman on the football team. After graduating, he enlisted and served honorably in the United States Army. He then moved to the Phoenix area where he worked for the Delich Appraisal Service.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Pearl Bay; his mother, Barbara Lynn Bay; his stepfather, Fred Rogers; his brothers, David E. Bay and John L. Bay; his sister, Misti Lee Bay Henrie; four nieces and nephews and an uncle, Jay Delich; an aunt Diane Delich and two cousins, Darci Delich and Danelle Kirkby.
Arrangements are under the direction of Greer’s Scott Mortuary of Winslow.
