Tolani Lake Shoot-Out

A Mens open basketball tournament will take place on Thursday-Saturday, March 22-24 at Tolani Lake Elementary School, in Tolani, Arizona. Entry fee is $125 due before the teams first game. Basketball shootout

Bull Riding Blow Out

Greasewood Springs will have its Bullriding Blow-Out on Saturday, March 24 at 1 p.m. at the Boyd’s Arena in Greasewood, Arizona. The cost of bullriding is $60, junior bulls is $30, steer riding is $20, Wooley Riding $10. For more information, (520) 654-3225 or 654-3492.

Spring Fever

Basketball Championships

The 2001 Navajo Nation Basketball Championships, open men’s and women’s, will be held March 30-April 1 at the Tuba City Community Center. Entry fee: $250 (men’s) and $225 (women’s). $100 deposit due by March 26 to secure bracket space. 10 player roster; double elimination bracket. AIA certified officials for each game. Miss Navajo Nation Benefit Tournament

Men’s Basketball Tournament

The National All Indian Men’s 6 ft. and Under Basketball Tournament will be held April 12-14 at the Flagstaff High School Gymnasium. Individual and team awards. Ten player roster. CIB and Tribal Affiliation required. Deadline: March 30. Entry fee: $350, money order or cashiers check only.
