Letters to the Editor

So, according to the “diversity and inclusion” policies of UWNA, it is okay for member agencies to discriminate based on age, gender, income and whether or not a kid is in school, but it is not okay for an agency to discriminate based on believing in God (religion) and sexual orientation.

I contend that “discrimination” is certainly not at issue here, the hypocrisy is too transparent. Discrimination is obviously beneficial and essential to the mission of many agencies. Why can’t the BSA discriminate but all these other agencies can? These other member agencies actively and boldly discriminate and will continue to receive allocation funding from UMNA.

The UMNA has gone above the Supreme Court, sanctioning certain discrimination and approving others, based on the political agenda of their Board members. I contend that what is at issue here are the personal agendas of some vocal and powerful UNWA board members who do not approve of traditional moral values.

Your local Boy Scouts will now need your private funding more than ever. Please, support them and the BSA.
