Basketball Tournament

Rez Hoops

The Second Annual “Rez Hoops” 14 and under boys and girls basketball tournament will be held, Thursday-Saturday, April 19-21 at the Kayenta Middle School. Entry fee is $125 for an 8 players roster. Basketball Tournament

The Spring Fever Open Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22 at the Kayenta Valley High School Gymnasium. Entry fee is $250 per team. Grand prize is $1000. The event is presented by Bobby Manheimer. For more information, call (520) 697-3936.

The Greatest Shoot-out

The Greatest Shoot-out basketball tournament will be held for boys & girls 12 & under, Friday- Sunday, April 20-22. For boys & girls 14 & under will be held Friday-Sunday, April 27-29. Run for the Mountain

“Run for the Mountain” is a perfect opportunity to get back into shape and enjoy the scenery. Benefiting the Flagstaff Mountain School’s new site development, this fun family event will take place Saturday, April 21 in Fort Tuthill, two miles south of Flagstaff on Interstate I-17. “Run for the Mountain” features special events such as a 2K and a 5K run. Basketball Shootout

The Four Corners Natives Basketball Club will have a shootout, Friday-Sunday, May 4-6 in Tuba City. There will be a boys/girls division ages 14 years and under, 16 years and under and 18 years/under. Entry fee is $200 and a $100 deposit is required by Saturday, April 28.

Diamondbacks to host Flagstaff Day

The Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team will be hosting a special “Flagstaff Day” at Bank One Ball on Sunday, July 1, against the Colorado Rockies. Start time for the game is 1:35 p.m. Discounted tickets are now available for purchase at the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce, 101 W. Route 66.
