Steven Boyd Barton

Funeral services for Steven Boyd Barton, 34, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 21 at the Maranatha Assembly of God Church in Winslow. Pastor Al Campson officiated. Interment was in Desert View Cemetery.

Steven Barton passed away on July 14, in Flagstaff. He was born on April 26, 1966 in Winslow. Steven lived in Winslow all his life and attended school in Winslow. He was an artist and was self-employed.

He leaves a brother, Sylvester Barton and many friends who will miss him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Eva Barton.

Alma Ella Beach

Memorial service for Alma Ella Beach, 81, was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 25 at the Immanuel Bible Church at 1223 W. Third St., Winslow. Pastor Ervin Poolheco officiated.

Alma Beach passed away on July 20, in Winslow She was born on September 26, 1918, in Bryan, Montana. She came to Winslow in 1980 from Phoenix. She was a Senior Companion for 15 years, and was active in the Senior Center. She loved her grandchildren. She was a loving, caring grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all.

Her survivors include; daughter, Mary Perez of Winslow; brothers, Ralph Beach of Nebraska, Roy Beach of California, and Earl Schmidt of Nebraska; sisters, Pauline Boadman of Nevada and Pearl Newton of Montana; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren: Mary Ramirez, Geneva Dalton, Angelina Ramirez, Anissa Ramirez, Gabriel Ramirez, Antonio Perez, Emmanuel Perez, John Dalton, Amy Dalton and Jessica Dalton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Beach and Carrie Condra Beach; brothers, Charles Beach, Clarence Beach, Raymond Beach and Don Schmidt.

Rosalyn Clashin

Funeral Services for Rosalyn Clashin, 45, were held Friday, July 21 at Polacca Community Cemetery in Polacca.

Rosalyn "Cute" Clashin passed away on July 18, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on October 14,1954 in Keams Canyon. She attended Keams Canyon Boarding School during the first grade to the eighth grade. Her high school years were spent at Phoenix Indian High School, then she transferred to Sherman Indian High School where she graduated. She was employed at the time of her death.

Her survivors are: sisters, Marilyn and Debbie Clashin, both of Polacca; sister-in-law, Trina Clashin of Sacaton; nephews Mayhard, Justin Morris III, and Loren Clashin; nieces, Tina Youvella and Lorena Clashin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Lorena Clashin; a sister, Myrna Clashin; and brother, Morris Clashin, Jr.
