Havasupai, AZ Board of Regents resolve lawsuit
PHOENIX, Ariz. - On April 20, the Arizona State Legislature's Joint Legislative Budget Committee approved a settlement agreement between the Havasupai Tribe and the Arizona Board of Regents resolving litigation involving allegations of unauthorized genetic studies of Havasupai people.

San Manuel tribe contributes $100,000 to Navajo, Hopi

Pilot admits aerial trespass over Hualapai Reservation
PEACH SPRINGS, Ariz. - On March 11, the Hualapai Tribal Court accepted ultralight aircraft pilot Lionel De Antoni's admission of responsibility for trespassing and endangerment in violation of the law. De Antoni has agreed to pay a fine with respect to each admission.

PARKER, Ariz. - Eldred Enas was elected as the new Chairman of the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) in their elections held Dec. 6. Enas defeated Rayford Patch and Wendell Goodman Jr. to become CRIT's first new chairman in 20 years. Enas will succeed Daniel Eddy Jr. who decided not to run for re-election.
