Nina Hutchinson Smith
Nina Hutchison Smith, 89, of Albuquerque, N.M., passed away, Wednesday, Aug 25, 2010. She was born Aug. 20, 1921 in Durant, Miss. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Butler Smith, Th.D. She is survived by her children, Peggy Collins (Don), Carol Ambrose (Roy), Richard Smith (Patti), Wayne Smith (Jannan) and Warren Smith; niece, Bobbie Horn; nephew, Redmond Hutchison; and 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Dr. Scott Franklin
Our father, grandfather and husband, Dr. Scott Franklin, 90, of Flagstaff passed from this life on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at Flagstaff Medical Center. He was laid to rest on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010. His maternal clan is the Towering House Clan and his paternal clan is the Salt Clan. He was a respected minister to the Navajo people for many years.

Glorianna Marie Jenkins, 24, of Kykotsmovi, was called home to heaven on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010. She was born on May 30, 1986 in Glendale. She was a great mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend. She loved to laugh, bake and cook, listen to music and loved her sons dearly. Glorianna will always be with us wherever we are.

Arline Hobson, a lifelong Quaker, enveloped in the bosom of a large and extended family and networks of friends, died Dec. 20, 2009, ending a long and remarkable life of service. She was born Jan. 16, 1918 and after 40 years she had moved from Tucson to Tempe in 2002. A memorial service will be held in the manner of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) at Tempe Friends Meeting House, 318 E. 15th St, Tempe, AZ on Jan. 16 at 1 p.m.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne and 10th Mountain Division in Fort Benning, Ga. between 1984 and 1994. He served in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm and was honorably discharged in 1994.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Calbert Seciwa, director of the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals (ITEP) at Northern Arizona University, passed away at home in Zuni on Monday after a lengthy illness. Seciwa was raised in Zuni and was a member of the Badger Clan and child of the Eagle Clan.

Kenneth Silas Lee, age 39, died suddenly on March 10. He was born in Tuba City and graduated from Tuba City High School in 1986. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Flagstaff where he met his wife Alice. In 1990 they moved to Grand Canyon where he met and made many friends. In 1994 he moved his family back to Flagstaff where he had been a resident with his wife and their three children, Shaun, Michael and Sierra.

Ann M. Carlson
JANESVILLE, Wis. - Ann M. Carlson, age 83, of Janesville, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Nursing Home. She was born in Black River Falls on March 8, 1924. Carlson was the daughter of Lyle and Lurline (Dalrymple) Cooper and received her nursing degree from the University of Minnesota. Ann married John M. Carlson on June 19, 1948 in Chapel at the University of Minnesota. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1970. She worked at Mercy Hospital where she was the director of staff development and later for Rock County Hospital, Rock Haven, Cedar Crest Health Care Center, Janesville Health Care Center, and the Chinle Nursing Home as the director of nursing.
