I couldn't help it. I had to smile when I heard on the news that a 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit Washington, D.C. earlier this morning. It just reinforced the message I have been a firm believer in for most of my adult life about our blatant disregard for and mistreatment of our poor Mother Earth.
