Air Force Airman Lee E. Taylor graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

CSM Humewysie Sockyma
Cadet Command Sergeant Major Humewysie Sockyma was promoted to the rank of Command Sergeant Major of the Bruin Battalion for School year 2008-09. Humewysie was a First Lieutenant (S-2) and Captain of the Raider Fitness team, but is being promoted due to the need for a Command Sergeant Major . Her responsibilties, loyalty and committment to the program proved she was ready to be promoted to the highest enlisted rank available. She gave up her officer position to become the CSM.

TUBA CITY, Ariz. - E-3 Seaman Landon Micheal Yazzie is a month away from his basic training graduation. Yazzie is currently stationed in Great Lake, Ill. but was able to make a quick trip home to share Independence Day with his family.
